Job Description

The Parts Manager at Indongo Toyota Walvis Bay plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the Parts Department within the dealership. This includes ensuring efficient operations, achieving sales targets, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. The role also involves managing a small team of individuals and maintaining a high level of staff engagement, adhering to group standards, and fostering a proactive approach to sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Parts Department, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to policies and lead and develop a highly efficient sales team
  • Set and achieve sales targets aligned with dealership objectives
  • Monitor departmental performance against budget and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective inventory control measures. and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of parts stock.
  • Meet Toyota standards and effectively manage the Customer Service Development Program (CSDP)
  • Implement and manage sales development initiatives to promote parts sales growth and marketing opportunities and handle escalated customer issues and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction o Collaborate with Deale Principal and other department heads to achieve overall business objectives.

  • Grade 12
  • A degree/ diploma in Business Management, or related field will be advantageous o Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • At least 4 years’ experience in this field,
  • 2 years at management level
  • Language proficiency in English, Afrikaans and other
  • Previous Toyota franchise experience will be advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license
