Manage a sub-segment in accordance with principles policies frameworks and company strategy. To formulate and position multiple growth management value chains, operating models and frameworks in alignment to the overall Segment strategy in order to position and enable horizontal collaboration, implementation and adoption. To manage the profitable and sustainable growth of the sub-segment for all products across all channels with specific focus on VSI, give strategic direction and ensure execution of the FNB Value proposition to its existing and future client base.

Job Profile Summary
To drive the strategic positioning of Public Sector with internal and external stakeholders through appropriate relationships and customer financial solutions
Are you someone who can:
- Manage the Public Sector profitability, in line with the Public Sector strategy, through the successful development and implementation of short- and long-term tactics, including quality mix, customer acquisition, cross-selling, migration, retention, pricing and cost optimisation.
- Ensure a unified vision, strategies and goals in order to align business efforts across all product houses and channels that serve the customer.
- Provide the customer with business solutions and grow the customer base by being pro-active and thereby achieving set objectives.
- Develop strategies (customer, product, marketing, sales, and service) to grow the Public Sector business
- Drive the entire value chain of client relationships which includes Government, (Ministries, authorities, parastatals, Local Governments), Development Organizations (Embassies, High commissions, Donor agencies, Development partners) etc.
- Achieve zero write off of debt and zero operational losses by following the appropriate procedures and managing the workload flow between Credit and Public Sector Banking Divisions.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Minimum Qualification: A bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Public Administration, Banking & Finance OR an equivalent field. A Masters in similar disciplines as an added advantage.
- A minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in the financial services industry, at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role within.
- Demonstrated experience managing large portfolios, preferably in the public sector
- High levels of integrity and political maturity.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Ability to operate in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
