Primary purpose of the position:
To maintain the overall safety on work sites through the enforcement of health and safety policies at Namdock
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, Organising, and Preparations
- Emergencies
- Control, Reports, Investigations, and Inspections
- HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment)
- Security and Access Control
- Housekeeping and Demobilisation
Requirements
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety/International Maritime Organization Firefighting/ Incident Investigation or other related fields (NQF Level 5).
- Three (3) Years relevant Experience in Marine HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environmental) or a related field.
- A Valid Driver’s Licence (Code B).
- A Valid First Aid Certificate.
- An Atmospheric Testing Certificate.
- A Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) Certificate
- Report Writing
- Interpersonal Skills
- Computer Literacy
- Working knowledge of Safety
- Management Information Systems
