Job Description

Primary Purpose of the position:

  • Accountable for a variety of division and sections for the corporate support pertaining to properties, supply chain and logistics.

  • Properties/ Facilities Management and Valuation
  • Supply Chain Management (Procurement Management)
  • Logistics and Transport Management Section
  • Strategy Management
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Planning, financial management and control
  • Project Management
  • Human Resources Management and Development
  • Customer Care (internal and external)

 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or B Tech Degree in Engineering
  • Registration with Namibia Institute of Architects and Quantity Surveyors or registered with the Namibian Engineering Council
  • Relevant Masters Degree will be an added advantage
  • Master Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years experience in financial/ quantity surveying/ asset/ capital project’s/ property management of which at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Extensive experience in financial management and planning of assets
  • Understanding of the Namibian Acts pertaining to Public Procurement Act and its regulations especially Legal compliance
  • Professional Project Management Skills and a proven record
  • Supply Chain and logistics knowledge pertaining to fleet and fuel cards, transportation of staff, space planning for staffing expansions
  • Valid Code B Drivers License

  • Availability to travel as and when required.
