Spa Therapist – O&L Leisure
Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To provide luxury wellness therapies and treatments as dictated by the spa menu to our guests, ensuring exceptional service and memorable spa experiences. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Performance Areas:
- Deliver a personalized guest experience with commercial success while representing the spa in a professional and hospitable manner
- Consult guests to determine specific needs, preferences, and treatment indications, providing informed recommendations
- Prepare treatment rooms by arranging necessary equipment, supplies, and products for scheduled treatments
- Sanitize all equipment and tools before and after each treatment to maintain hygiene standards
- Process billing and post charges for spa services accurately
- Deliver a variety of spa services safely and comfortably, including body treatments, massages, facials, waxing, and manicures/pedicures
- Recommend spa products, treatments, and services using in-depth knowledge of spa menus and offerings
- Conduct monthly stocktakes
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Grade 12 plus Higher Certificate
- ITEC or CIDESCO Diploma in Somatology, Cosmetology, or Aesthetics
- SAAHSP registration will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in all treatments provided at the spa
- Knowledge of various massage and beauty therapy techniques
- Product knowledge in SpaGuru and Micros
