Number of positions: 2 | Internal/External
Division: Supply Chain (Husab site)

Purpose of the Job

To support the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse through the receiving, storage, issuing and control of materials, tools, equipment, PPE and consumables while ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Performance Areas

• Receive, inspect and issue materials, tools, equipment and consumables.
• Ensure all received stock is accurately checked, recorded and stored correctly.
• Maintain effective inventory control and warehouse records.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or replenishment requirements.
• Ensure materials and equipment are stored safely and securely.
• Capture and maintain inventory information on the warehouse management system.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
• Comply with all safety, health, environmental and quality requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Grade 10 / 12 certificate with 20 points or above.
• Certificate or Diploma in Purchasing Management will be an added advantage.
• Valid Code B Driver’s Licence or higher.
• Valid Forklift Licence will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ warehouse experience.
• Proven experience as a Storeman.
• Experience in a mining or industrial environment will be advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of warehouse inventory control systems.
• Good record-keeping and stock control skills.
• Basic computer literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Commitment to safety and housekeeping standards.
