ADVERTISEMENT OF POSITION
The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) as a lead implementer and the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations has been implementing the Dryland Sustainable Landscape – Impact Project titled: “Integrated Landscape Management to Reduce, reverse and avoid further Degradation and Support the Sustainable use of natural resources in the Mopane-Miombo belt of Northern Namibia (DSL-IP Project).
The objective of the project is to support a transformational shift towards a sustainable and integrated management of multi-use dryland landscapes in northern Namibia (with targeted sites in Oshikoto, Omusati and Kavango East).
The Project is designed to play a significant role in improving livelihoods of rural communities and ensuring the sustainable management of natural resources in affected areas. The following vacant position is available for the implementation of this Project:
