Slicing Supervisor – Hartlief Namibia
Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To plan, execute and supervise all activities around finished products in the Slicing and Packing department in line with the HL production plans and targets. Follow procedures and work instructions by the efficient utilization of machinery/equipment, overseeing timeous preparation of packaging material and accurate stock control while adhering to Health & Safety and Quality standards/specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- 2-3 years’ experience in similar position
- Supervisory experience is an added advantage
- MS Office, intermediate computer literacy skills, SAP Knowledge.
SOME KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist with the receiving and issuing process of stock and orders on a daily basis.
- Execute daily forecasts on meat orders for production and compare production to forecast
- Record stock levels and assist with stock rotation (FIFO).
- Challenge clarifications and variations of all stock count sheet , credit passes and crates & pallets
- Prepare and provide picking slips for Order Controllers on a daily basis
- Ensure that accurate invoicing of orders is processed for all customers
- Manage and verify items to be scrapped as well as BTS’s (Back to stock) returned from the depots
- Perform housekeeping and Health & Safety inspections to ensure compliance to safety procedures and policies that are in place
- Train staff on Food Safety Assurance requirements and monitor compliance thereof
- Perform thorough inspection on employees to verify that required PPE is worn at all times
- Monitor and inspect the proper/safe storage of all raw materials and chemicals and action accordinglyDue Date: 7 August 2026
