Job Summary

Barloworld represents world leading equipment brands manufactured for earthmoving and Marine applications in Southern Africa and the world, adding value to its Customers in the Mining, Construction, Marine and Energy Industries. We provide technical and logistical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing of orders and quotations
• Coordinating of ordering, purchasing functions and monitoring expenses
• Interpreting Customer Parts requirements
• Pro-actively follow up and resolve all parts related queries including airfreight orders
• Implementing and managing procedures is beneficial to the business unit
• Controlling the receiving and delivery of parts orders
• Assisting with stock counts and housekeeping
• Performing general warehouse duties

Requirements

• Grade 12, passed
• A Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or Business Administration
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse or parts sales environment
• Computer literate (MS Office and SIS is essential)
• Excellent communication, problem solving and administrative skills
• Technical and product knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of the Parts business which includes the NAXT system for Parts
• Must be in possession of a Code of Conduct not older than 6 Months
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License – manual transmission
