Job Summary
Jacobs Amupolo is a Windhoek and Ongwediva based law firm which mainly practices in the fields of General and Criminal High Court Litigation, Collections as well as Conveyancing and related commercial law. We require the services of a competent and dynamic ADMITTED LEGAL PRACTITIONER with experience to complement our Commercial, Litigation and Debt Collection team primarily based at our Ongwediva offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Complement our Commercial, Litigation and Debt Collection team primarily based at our Ongwediva offices.
Requirements
- LLB or similar qualification
- Admission experience in High Court matters
- Conducting legal research and the drafting of commercial agreements, due diligence reviews, opinions, pleadings and regulatory advice
- Own file maintenance with good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, Legal Suite and E-justice
- Self-motivated and dedicated individuals with the ability to prioritize and work independently
- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience (aspiring) in conveyancing, commercial law and labour law will be an added advantage
- A driver’s license
- Willingness to travel to remote courts across the country
Salary
Market-related salary coupled with a commission over and above the expected fee target
