About the Ministry The Ministry of Finance is responsible for central government finances, including coordination of the national budget, financial markets, consumer legislation and tax policy. The ministry plays an important role in positioning Namibia’s Public Enterprises to play a significant role in the country’s developmental agenda. Our vision is to be a catalyst and adaptive institution that promotes sustainable economic prosperity for all Our mission is to ensure prudent public finance management and setting the direction of Namibia’s economic and fiscal policy for sustainable, inclusive economic growth and development.
