Key Responsibilities

Drafting policy briefs for the Minister and Permanent Secretary, analyzing fiscal data and economic trends, and coordinating with departments like the Namibia Revenue Agency and National Planning Commission. Representing the Ministry in inter-ministerial meetings and preparing submissions for Cabinet and Parliament.

Requirements

An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 7 in any of the following fields: Economics, Business Economics, Development Economics, International Economics, Development Finance, relevant Social Sciences or a related field. At least five (5) years of relevant experience in economic policy, regional integration, international cooperation, trade, development cooperation or a related field.
