| Job Description | To prepare preliminary and final designs for infrastructure projects, review designs done by
consultants and assist junior Engineers and Technicians regarding design philosophy; to
ensure that NamWater’s Infrastructures are constructed in accordance with acceptable
international standards. |

? BSc/B Eng Civil Engineering Degree – NQF Level 8
? 3 Years’ Experience
- Legal Requirements
? Registered as a Professional Engineer
? Driver’s License Code B

| Competencies, Skills and Abilities | - Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, drafting (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) and
professional analysis and design software (e.g. PROKON) - Knowledge of codes, SANS/International standards
- Exposure to all aspects of the Civil Engineering field as well as a reasonable knowledge of other Engineering fields.
