Job Summary
Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for one (1) Jnr RAN Engineer based in Windhoek. The successful candidate should be able and flexible to travel across the country. The role focuses on RAN network performance, capacity management, technical configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, documentation and supporting field/NOC teams to maintain a reliable and efficient radio network.

Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications fields or equivalent
- Computer proficiency with good working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel)
- 0-2 years’ experience in radio frequency, telecommunications or network operation environment, relevant internship or practical training will be advantageous
- Expose to RAN, microwave or VSAT technologies advantageous
- Cisco CCNA (or working towards it) advantageous
- Familiarity with Grafana or similar monitoring, dashboarding and reporting tools a plus.
- Valid Working at Heights and Fall Arrest Certification, or willingness to obtain one
- Basic knowledge of electrical works
- Valid Driver’s license.
