We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team.

Purpose of the Job

To lead and coordinate maintenance across the process plant, underground pump stations, dewatering infrastructure and site facilities, ensuring equipment availability, safe operation and long-term asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of crushing, screening, milling, flotation, conveyors, pumps and ancillary plant equipment.
• Manage maintenance of underground pump stations, pipelines, motors, MCCs, starters, VSDs and controls.
• Coordinate planned maintenance, shutdowns and emergency breakdown response.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules, asset registers and work-order priorities.
• Promote zero-harm maintenance culture and statutory compliance.
• Supervise artisans, operators, assistants and contractors.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contractor costs, spares and cost-saving initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in heavy industry, mining, mineral processing or plant maintenance.
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
• Strong experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, crushers, mills, piping and utilities.
• Experience with underground dewatering or pump station systems will be highly advantageous.
• Experience in CMMS or maintenance planning systems preferred.
