Job Description
Job Summary
Catholic Health Services is Namibia’s second largest health services provider with four hospitals and twelve health centers and clinics, mainly in rural areas. We have multiple vacancies available.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical care and treatment to patients.
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Provide social support and counseling to patients and families.
- Administer nursing care and patient education.
- Manage pharmacy operations and medication dispensing.
- Oversee human resource management and staff development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and of Surgery.
- At least two years working experience in a similar environment.
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical and Dental Council of Namibia.
- Should be in possession of a Valid Driver’s License.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Radiography for Registered Radiographers.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia as a Radiographer.
- Adherence to the guiding principles of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology Counselor.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia as a Social Worker.
- Diploma or Bachelors in Registered Nursing and Midwifery.
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Health Professions Council of Namibia, Higher Diploma, or Post-Graduate specialization in Ophthalmology or Cataract Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Certificate in Pharmacy.
- Registration as a Pharmacist Assistant with the Pharmacy Council of Namibia.
- A Senior Secondary Certificate on (NQF) Level 3 or Equivalent Qualification.
- Candidate must be computer literate and have a HR background.
