Internal & External Vacancy (Plant Cleaner x2)
Uis Tin Mining Company Pty Ltd, an equal opportunity employer situated in the Erongo region, hereby invites competent and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Plant Cleaner. This position reports to the Plant Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping activities and assist with preparation for maintenance safely to achieve section targets.
- Clean equipment/plant with specialized machinery.
- Clean safety signs and equipment to ensure visibility and fitness for use.
- Collect, sort, and dump spillage material.
- Ensure conformance to product requirements, equipment performance, and availability.
- Adhere to correct procedures, policies, and health/safety guidelines.
- Provide assistance in accordance with company policies to plant operators/assistants.
- Sanitize plant areas when required.
- Perform any ad hoc tasks as prescribed by supervisor and/or manager.
Key Requirements
- Grade 10 certificate.
- Understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Valid police clearance certificate, not older than 6 months.
