Job Summary

Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for one Senior Accountant in Windhoek. The successful candidate will be responsible for complex accounting tasks, reporting, auditing, budgeting and ensuring regulator compliance. Responsible to oversee the accounting department with their duties, including but not limited to, reconciliations, tax calculations and submissions.

• Oversee the accounting department with their duties, including but not limited to, reconciliations, tax calculations and submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Added advantage: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
• 5 – 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Proven track record in: Financial reporting and analysis, Budgeting and forecasting, Compliance with accounting standards and regulations, Managing audits (internal and external), Overseeing junior accountants or finance staff.
• Working knowledge of Sage Accounting Software.
• Valid drivers license.
• Police Clearance.
