(Tools Store attendant)

Uis Tin Mining Company Pty Ltd an equal opportunity employer, situated in the Erongo region, hereby invites competent & suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Tools Store attendant. This position reports to the Maintenance Workshop Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections in accordance with Mine Health and Safety Act regulations.
• Ensure compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act (Section 29 of 1996), mine’s Code of Practice.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Receive incoming materials, tools, and spare parts.
• Verify quantities and quality against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
• Ensure proper documentation of all received goods.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures within the store environment.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Use appropriate PPE at all times.

Key Requirements:

• Grade 10 certificate (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a stores or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with spare parts and tools (mechanical/electrical is an advantage).
• Knowledge of stock control principles.
• A valid police clearance certificate, not older than 6 months.
