Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the manufacturing of various maize and wheat products according to specification and quality parameters;
  • Assist with wheat and maize intake and milling processes;
  • Control and adhere to product quality parameters;
  • Assist in the Optimizing of mills, machinery and equipment;
  • Maintain mills, machinery and equipment;
  • Ensure that department shift goals are met;
  • Submit Assignment on time to SAGMA;
  • Academic progress each year to ensure completion of studies within 3 years;
  • Maintain a clean working environment;
  • Employee is required to do stock take as and when required;
  • Employee is required to perform housekeeping duties as per Health and Safety regulations;
  • Employee will perform fumigation duties as and when required;
  • Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures;
  • Adhere to Health, Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 with a D in English;
  • Electrician/Millwright will be an added advantage;
  • Result driven achiever;
  • Be prepared to work odd hours and overtime when required;
  • Be prepared to work shifts.
