Job Summary

Southern Motor Mecca is a family-owned business committed to delivering exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships with our clients. As an authorized Nissan dealership, we operate a fully equipped workshop and parts division. In addition to Nissan vehicles, we service and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using specialized diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective vehicle components and systems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, testing, and road tests as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Collaborate with workshop staff to ensure vehicles are completed and ready for collection within agreed timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Qualification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Auto Electrical qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
• Experience working with multiple vehicle brands and models.
