We are looking for a motivated Grout Pump Operator to join our Technical Services team.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To safely and effectively operate grout pumping equipment used in underground drilling and related activities, ensuring grout is correctly prepared, handled and pumped.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate grout pumping equipment according to work requirements.
- Pump grout to designated locations and monitor operations.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Assist with preparation and handling of grout materials.
- Follow required mixing and quantity specifications.
- Support drilling activities and maintain good housekeeping.
- Follow HSE requirements and report hazards, spills and unsafe conditions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 10 or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in grout pumping or related underground mining activities.
- Relevant equipment operation or mining training will be advantageous.
- Experience with grout pumping equipment will be advantageous.
- Basic mechanical understanding will be advantageous.
- Ability to work safely around grout, water, equipment and underground conditions.
