Job Summary

We are hiring a Marketing & Sales Officer to join our dynamic team at Shipanga FM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting revenue targets through effective prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing. You will also grow and retain client relationships through excellent service and repeat business. Additionally, you will sell on-air, digital, promotional, outside-broadcast, and activation campaigns, identify new markets, advertise categories and revenue opportunities, and manage contracts, bookings, billing, collections, and monthly performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet revenue targets through effective prospecting, pitching, negotiation and closing.
• Grow and retain client relationships through excellent service and repeat business.
• Sell on-air, digital, promotional, outside-broadcast and activation campaigns.
• Identify new markets, advertiser categories and revenue opportunities.
• Manage contracts, bookings, billing, collections and monthly performance reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in sales or media marketing.
• Proven record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client-management skills.
