Our company is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Civil Works Foreman to join our team on a construction project in Namibia. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret basic construction drawings and instructions, Assist the Civil Works Supervisor with the implementation of construction plans and schedules, Ensure that work is carried out correctly, safely, and according to instructions, Monitor the quality and progress of civil works on site, Coordinate the civil work activities with other trades and sub-contractors, Ensure that workers follow site safety rules and procedures, Guide, train, and motivate local employees in proper construction methods and site practices, Report daily work progress and labor requirements to the Project Manager on site. Requirements: National Diploma or Certificate in Civil Construction, Building, or a related field, Proven experience as a Civil Works Foreman for 8 years, Ability to read and understand construction drawings and instructions, Be able to do setting-out correctly, Good leadership and communication skills, Ability to supervise workers and maintain discipline on site, Knowledge of health and safety procedures, Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
