Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop direct report within the finance function
• Oversee work allocation, performance management and capability development of the team
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior finance staff.
• Act as Finance 2IC during key reporting and planning cycle, ensuring continuity and leadership support
• Act as a strategic business partner to production, procurement and commercial teams. Influence operational decision-making to improve efficiency, cost control and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures and internal controls
• Identify and mitigate financial risks relating to costing, inventory and operational processes.
• Support internal and external audit processes where required.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive financial discipline and performance improvement initiatives
• Execute all other legal and reasonable duties as directed by the employer.
• Maintain housekeeping in the workshop and relevant areas.
• Adherence to Company policies, procedures and practice.
• Adherence to Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Proficient knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• SAP experience in SAP module Material Management and FI.
• Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in cost and production accounting environment.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel for analysis, planning & reporting, ability to create, manipulate, utilize spreadsheets, word processing programs.
