Key Responsibilities
– Accountable for the accuracy, integrity and reliability of costing, inventory valuation, and related financial information impacting financial reporting.
– Own and manage the standard costing model, ensuring alignment with operational realities.
– Review BOMs and ensure that they reflect the latest manufacturing practices, updating standard costs as required.
– Interact with the production department to ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) are accurate and up to date.
– Ensure strong financial controls and governance over costing and inventory process.
– Drive continuous improvement in costing methodologies and processes.
– Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
– Support strategic planning through robust financial modelling and scenario analysis, Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
– Provide financial recommendations influencing pricing, margin optimisation and operational strategy.
– Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making at management level.
– Accountable for inventory valuation, reconciliation and reporting integrity
– Oversee inventory cycle counts and investigate variances.
– Maintain integrity of inventory master data of agency goods.
– Maintain the cost price master data of inventory.
– Prepare and review monthly management reports and cost reports.
– Prepare and present cost and operational performance reports to senior management and support Board reporting with financial insights and commentary.
