Job Summary

We have an I.T Hardware and Software support position available in our Team in Windhoek and Swakopmund.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Install and configure IP CCTV camera systems and wireless networking.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Assist with software and hardware support.
  • Repair and maintain equipment and machines.
  • Manage and update asset management records and hardware inventory.
  • Analyse and create reports based on issues logged and report to the Head of Department.
  • Review current infrastructure and advise on improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate purchasing and deployment of equipment.
  • Set up new shops and understand layouts based on provided plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software and Hardware will be an added advantage.
  • 3+ years of experience in software and hardware or related fields.
  • Ability to upgrade systems to support compatible software, antivirus software, and related applications.
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines, prioritise tasks, plan, and delegate.
  • Highly computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques relevant to the industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High level of energy; professional, friendly, and determined attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and go the extra mile when required.
  • Knowledge of sports will be an added bonus.
  • Valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.
