Key Responsibilities
- Concept, shoot, edit, and deliver short-form video for social, digital, and in-store screens.
- Cut to multiple lengths and aspect ratios from a single shoot.
- Build hooks that survive the first three seconds, and pace the edit for feed viewing.
- Handle color grading, audio cleanup, and subtitling to a broadcast-acceptable standard.
- Build motion graphics, animated GIFs, lower thirds, kinetic typography, and infographic sequences in After Effects.
- Design the social graphics, thumbnails, digital advertising, and presentation visuals that sit around the video.
- Produce promotional catalogues, posters, and in-store point-of-sale artwork.
- Prepare artwork correctly for both digital and print production.
Requirements
- At least 3 years producing Video & Motion Graphics commercially, with a portfolio or reel that proves it.
- Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects skills.
- Working proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Confident camera operation, including lighting and audio capture.
- A real understanding of short-form social video: formats, pacing, retention, and why most branded video fails.
- Valid Namibian driver’s licence.
- Namibian citizen or valid authorisation to work in Namibia.
